12 gauge Dual Spare Shell Holder

The 12 guage Dual Spare Shell Holder is a device to hold 2 spare (or proof, if you're a skeet shooter) standard 2 3/4", 12 gauge shotgun shells. Shotgun shells are not included. It is made of a very rugged, black, photopolymer plastic. We offer 3 versions of the device that differ in how they attach to your equipment:

1. Narrow Clip-On: clips onto something thin (less than 4mm thick) like a thin belt, bag, or pocket.
2. Wide Clip-On: clips onto something thicker (4 to 10mm) like a wide brimmed bag, pouch, or thick belt.
3. Belt Loop: And one that has a loop that slips around a belt (less than 5mm thick).

Shotgun shells are inserted into the device by pushing the shells into the sides of the device towards the center. The shells are held firmly in place by a pressure fit. To remove a shell, simply pull the shell to the side (pretty much the reverse of how the shells were inserted) until the shell is free of the holder.

Spare shells are handy when:

• you have a misfire on the shooting line
• you have to reshoot a bad target
• a doubles bird breaks the other bird
• if you take a second shot at a single in sporting clays or 5 stand
• you need a couple of special shells for a shot

Please Note

That while this device is made of a very tough and heat resistant plastic, it is still black plastic. It will deform if it gets too hot. This material starts to become malleable around 140F. We have not had any problems with the belt loop version. However, we have noticed the belt clip on the belt clip versions getting loose if it gets too hot. If you live in hot areas (like Dallas, Texas - where we are), you may not want to leave it exposed to the sun inside a closed car in the summer. That said, it seems to stay firm and can be bent back into place and cooled.
